In July 2021, Nice was included on UNESCO's World Heritage List, highlighting an urban ensemble produced between 1760 and 1929 by cosmopolitan winter resorts, forming a 522-hectare area of rich architecture, heritage and biodiversity. To discover these emblematic sites, the City of Nice now organises tours in French and English, led by guides from the Ville d'Art et d'Histoire department of the Direction des Patrimoines, every Thursday (in French) and every Monday (in English).
