How to transport your bike on public transport in the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolitan area?

Traveling by bike on the TER is a very practical way to discover our region. All TER trains in the Southern Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur region accept bicycles free of charge, subject to availability and at certain times. Not accepted during peak times, from Monday to Friday, from 7:00 to 9:00 am, and from 4:30 to 6:30 pm. Bicycles are hung up or placed in a space provided for this purpose. These spaces cannot be reserved.

By LER bus

Bicycles are accepted on board in the hold within the limits of the places available on all lines. The bike pass is €6.50. Foldable bicycles transported in a bag are accepted free of charge. There is no online reservation for bikes. Payment is made directly on board the LER. It is advisable to contact the operators of the LER lines used to check availability in the hold. The telephone contact is mentioned on each timetable.

Your bike can be transported. If you want to take your bike on board, put it on hold. It is strongly recommended that you transport your bicycle in a protective cover.
