The perched village of Aspremont overlooks the Plaine du Var. Its houses are arranged in concentric circles around its fine Gothic church.

An invigorating climb to visit the village brings its rewards: narrow paved streets, vaulted passageways, secret flower gardens, stone houses, fountains and wash houses, etc. And there is a splendid panorama on the Lower Var Valley.

Sights: Saint-Jacques-le-Majeur church: 13th & 16th-century paintings and murals; altarpiece (18th c), naïve statue of the Virgin Mary; Saint-Claude votive chapel (17th c) built to ward off the Plague; Notre-Dame-des-Salettes chapel.
