It was at the Nice Conservatory that he learned his trade, just long enough to collect a few prizes that would allow him to join the prestigious École Normale Alfred CORTOT in PARIS. Loaded with diplomas, a voracious fan of international competitions, Christophe ALVAREZ travels the world, performs in the most prestigious venues as a soloist or in a group, tames the subtle playing of the best in the discipline, before devoting himself to recording, then to composition; his passion from the very beginning. Since then, his music for short and feature films has been collecting awards. Today, Christophe ALVAREZ is here just for you. He invites you to share his emotions around works by Jean-Sébastien BACH, Franz LISZT, Jean-Philippe RAMEAU, but also Frédéric CHOPIN for whom he will mix, as he knows so well how to do, virtuosity with elegance, ease with delicacy, precision with individuality; rare suspended moments, to be kept deep in our hearts.
As part of the programming of this event organized in the middle of the "Pink October" campaign, a national event dedicated to breast cancer for the benefit of the Nice anti-cancer center, the profits from this show will increase the budget allocated to the acquisition of hypothermic gloves and slippers as well as pressotherapy equipment, as requested by the Management of the center.
