Three major themes guided their purchase:
‘Suzy Solidor’, to complement the exceptional donation of portraits made by the singer in 1973
‘The Cagnes landscape’, which so captivated and inspired artists from the late 19th century until the aftermath of the Second World War
‘The artistic life of Cagnes’, which was and still is a sought-after destination for artists!
