Géraldine Martineau writes and brings to the stage a delightful theatrical fresco which tells us the life of the legendary actress Sarah Bernhardt, the divine, who died exactly one hundred years ago.
Initially dreaming of a life centered on religion, Sarah entered the Conservatoire at sixteen. This was a turning point that would change the course of her life: she would never leave the stage until her last breath. Through her commitments, her choices, and the trials she endured, the extravagant Sarah Bernhardt would become an international icon, forever admired for her courage, her determination, and her will to be free.
