After days of cherishing a rose in her garden, an old lady who has never had children sees a tiny baby girl emerge from the flower.
As tall as a thumb, she decides to call her Thumbelina.
Looking for people her size, she sees her life turned upside down when she meets the Prince of Fairies. But that same evening, Thumbelina will be kidnapped... Will she manage to find her way home before the end of autumn and the arrival of winter?
It is with this idea in mind that the company l'Eclos des planches wishes to stage this famous tale by Hans Christian Andersen. Our goal is to make young and old dream in a "feel good" and colorful show. A real little musical comedy, l'éclos des planches promises you a fun and entertaining show to tell the story of Thumbelina's initiatory journey. A journey focused on discovering the world, trusting others and accepting oneself.
