The ‘sperm whale fresco’, which can be admired on the side façade of the Bermuda building, was painted in 1989 by the American artist Robert Wyland, a fervent defender of the environment.
He is also well known for the hundred or so Whaling Walls he has created to draw attention to the plight of whales around the world.
