Martine, Micky, and her friend Annie, all in their forties and single, are going to live together in Martine's apartment to forget the woes of their unrequited love and the setbacks in their lives, and decide to recreate the joyful circle of the "Laughing Mongooses".
Under the watchful eye of Loïc, a 24-year-old gay student to whom Martine rents her maid's room, they draft a charter for the Amazons, the main rule of which is... a regime without men.
Everything is going swimmingly in the caravan until the arrival of Guillaume, a 27-year-old and son of Bénédicte, the Amazons' best friend. He will soon become the prey of a frenzied safari!
