Fantasies on Beethoven
Virtuosity, a sense of color, imagination, humor, and fantasy will be the key elements of this exceptional concert by France’s most famous improvisational pianist, in tribute to the great Romantic composer.
Drawing inspiration from Beethoven’s rhythmic energy, pianistic heroism, and bold, powerful themes, Jean-François Zygel will create a unique recital of improvisations—just as Beethoven himself did until the end of his life before his beloved Viennese audience.
