Opening hours on Monday between 1 pm and 5 pm. On Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday between 9 am and 1 pm and between 2 pm and 5 pm.
Doors, especially those in Old Nice, offer a multitude of facets and can be used to protect, decorate, cross, ventilate, or even tell stories...
These are the different facets that the Centre du Patrimoine - Le Sénat proposes to reveal through this exhibition which presents 26 drawings of doors from Old Nice made in Indian ink by the painter Géraldine Sadlier.
It is completed by contemporary photographs by Laurent Costantini, photographer, which were commissioned by the artist Géraldine Sadlier to echo her works.
Finally, display cases exhibit pieces of ironwork loaned by Jean-Paul Léo, the last ironworker in Old Nice.
