In psychoanalysis, the term "metanoia" implies change and liberation. In this case, it's the story of a young woman seeking to understand the psychological process by which she allowed herself to be trapped in a toxic and devastating relationship for ten years.

Sure, she's experienced passion, but how can she survive it? How do you become a phoenix, rise from the ashes and one day find the strength to say no?

"This show is all about resilience, resistance and, finally, rebirth. What interests me is how, in a situation such as the one described here, you can regain control of your life at any moment, and retain the prospect of a better life if you choose to do so. This text is an ode to women's freedom, independence, emancipation and, above all, the affirmation of their individuality. Mélissa Prat
