Located in the heart of Old Nice, the Musée de la Photographie and its adjoining gallery offer seven exhibitions a year devoted to the greatest names in photography and all the trends in this medium.
The museum is housed in a former power plant dating from the 1930s, with the old overhead crane still in place. The preserved metal architectural elements give the place an industrial character that provides a magnificent setting for photography.
Since 2018, the museum has been awarded the Qualité Tourisme label, the only state mark awarded to tourism professionals for the quality of their welcome and services.
