Welcome to NICE GAYMES, the LGBT+ multi-sport tournament on the Côte d'Azur, celebrating diversity, inclusion and sport. Held in Nice, this event is a unique opportunity to bring together athletes from all walks of life around values of respect.
The NICE GAYMES offer a friendly and dynamic competition in three disciplines:
- Badminton: In gender-neutral doubles, come and show your agility and speed on the badminton courts. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced player, you will find opponents of your level for thrilling matches. The tournament is gender-neutral and the men's, women's and mixed+ teams compete together, with only a few bonus or penalty points at the start of the set.
- Volleyball: Form your team of 6 (gender-neutral) and prepare for intense exchanges. The volleyball tournament is the perfect opportunity to demonstrate your team spirit and your passion for this team sport.
- Open water swimming: Dive into the azure waters of the Mediterranean and take part in sea swimming events. This sporting challenge (individual and/or relay) is open to those who wish to combine performance and pleasure in an exceptional natural setting.
- Friday, October 11 in the evening: Welcome ceremony at the Mediterranean University Center.
- Saturday, October 12: the sporting events are all grouped together today, starting in the morning. Then a big festive evening in the process of being developed starting at 10:00 p.m.! Information and sale of evening tickets soon.
- Sunday, October 13: a friendly day off for which the program is currently being developed.
