Marinoni Square

Place Marinoni is the heart of Beaulieu-sur-Mer. From Monday to Saturday mornings, you can find a market garden here. Saturday morning, a Provencal market.

Inaugurated in 1904, the bandstand was part of a project to create a public square. The bandstand, built by wrought-iron craftsmen, is set in the middle of a square, allowing the then “La Renaissance” orchestra to play there regularly.

Statue of Hippolyte MARINONI: benefactor, inventor of the rotary press and the commune's 1st mayor in 1891, it is to him that Beaulieu owes its detachment from Villefranche.
