Located at the bottom of the large bay of Villefranche-sur-Mer, on the west side, the port attracts boaters as well as cruise passengers, in search of a picturesque, welcoming and well protected site.
The ports of Villefranche Darse was transferred to the Department under the decentralization law of 1984, as a commercial and fishing port.
