Who is the artist: Michael Saint Dragon is a poet and performer, very active in the world of slam and poetry. He is also a facilitator of eloquence workshops, particularly in middle and high schools in the Alpes-Maritimes.
His poetry is marked by a strong orality, influenced by slam culture, while integrating more traditional elements.
What does the artist do: in his recital "Radical, des mots qui claques dur", Michel Saint Dragon declaims his hard-hitting and impactful poetry, playing on rhythm, silences and intensity. Through major societal issues or lighter themes, he leaves no one indifferent. Between poetry and improv, favorites and punches, the rhymes follow one another but are not alike. He speaks to you in the ear and plays his drum, he writes a few rhymes or puns in pastels. The show ends with an improvisation for which you choose the words.
