Itinerary :
From the departmental snow school, reach the top of the resort by road (b.6). Go up the track for around 50 meters, above the water reservoir, and leave it (b.6 bis) as soon as the slope straightens out, in favor of a path through the undergrowth on the left. Reach a vast clearing from Puy d’Auron. Continue on the snowy path which comes close to the ski slope.
Without trying to take it, take the obvious path on the left which will complete the climb by following the rounded ridge until reaching the summit of Auron (1,929 m). The return takes place via the route taken on the outward journey.
