Open-air cinema screening "Beyond Prognosis" in the gardens of the Saint Erige Chapel with the Festival Committee. Refreshments available on site. Bring a blanket, as nights can be chilly at altitude!
Synopsis:
"In a small mining village in northeast England, 11-year-old Billy is stunned to discover that a dance class now shares the same premises as his boxing club. Initially horrified, he gradually becomes fascinated by the magic of ballet, an activity that is far too unmanly for his father and brother Tony, both striking miners. Billy puts aside his leather gloves to discreetly attend Mrs. Wilkinson's dance lessons."
