Sentier du Vinaigrier

From the Grande Corniche de Nice to Villefranche, the Sentier du Vinaigrier offers a family walk in the outdoors, a short walk from the city. An escape which reveals a unique panorama over the Baie des Anges.

Several paths surrounding the City of Nice offer exceptional panoramic views. Among them, the Sentier du Vinaigrier allows us to explore the entire wealth of Mediterranean flora in a preserved environment. Two km long, it connects the Col de Villefranche to the Grande Corniche de Nice. It crosses the park of the same name and offers a stunning panoramic view over the hills, the surrounding mountains and the sea from the famous Mont-Alban as far as the Cap d'Antibes. Benches have been set out along the way to allow walkers to loaf around a little more and enjoy the shade of its dense vegetation. This path is accessible to all and is not too steep, as it was once a channel bringing water from the hills to Nice. Located on the hillside, it hangs above the City. To access it easily, walkers can take the Chemin du Vinaigrier, then the Compagnie Générale des Eaux road and access the trail by the stairs.
