Nathalie Fillion has written and directed a choral performance that feels like a joyful fantasy, a futuristic novel. Spoken, sung, acted, danced, combative, and jubilant, Sur le coeur attempts to capture the chaos of the world to create new possibilities.
Paris, 2027. Since women have been speaking out and being listened to, new pathologies have been appearing, alerting the WHO and the scientific community. To address this, the Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital has just opened a care and research unit headed by Rose Spillerman, an iconoclastic neuropsychiatrist, flanked by her steadfast assistant Mario, head of the hospital choir. Iris, accompanied by her sister Marguerite, is placed under observation because she suddenly stopped speaking. Any means necessary will be used to elucidate her case - Iris's hospital room then becomes the site of all fictions, all phantasmagoria.
