Castle-like mansion built in 1912 by Baron Reuckart. The most notable owner was Madame Keuyelan whose dog, Barry, feared the summer heat of the coast: a house was rented in Chamonix, where certain staff took turns to look after him for 3 months. During the War, the Castel was occupied by Italian, German and French troops. Madame Keuyelan being under house arrest in Grenoble. After her death in 1951 the mansion was sold to Monsieur Brunet, a merchant from Lille. Madame Keuyelan has left in Villefranche the memory of a lady of great generosity.
