Nice Côte d’Azur connects to Abu Dhabi and more widely to Asia and Oceania
Eithad has been operating its second route to France since 15 June! It offers a connection between the capital of the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi, and the Côte d’Azur capital, Nice.
From 15 June, there will be two flights per week (Wednesdays and Sundays) for a period of 3 months.
Franck Goldnadel, Chairman of the Management Board of Aéroports de la Côte d’Azur, is delighted with this new link. According to him, it allows us to “reconcile the development of our network, the improvement of our long-haul connectivity for the benefit of the dynamism of our territory, with our desire to seek the best environmental efficiency by using the most modern and least emissive aircraft”.
On the outbound flight, the plane will make a stop in Rome before landing in Nice in the early morning. For the return journey, the airline proposes a direct flight with a departure scheduled for 11.25 am.
“Eithad is pleased to strengthen air connectivity between Abu Dhabi and France with the introduction of our summer service to Nice. The French Riviera is the ideal holiday destination, and we are confident that it will appeal to UAE holidaymakers.”Martin Drew, senior vice president of global sales and cargo at Etihad Airways.
