A new American destination in sight
American Airlines has announced new routes and destinations for its 2024 summer program, including three new European cities: Copenhagen, Nice, and Naples.
This expansion marks the company’s biggest growth in Europe in four years.
Overall, American Airlines aims to offer travelers more options and convenience by introducing new routes to popular European destinations such as Nice, strengthening its transatlantic network and expanding its presence in key international markets. Tickets for these new routes will be available for purchase from August 20, 2023.

The opening of a daily service between Nice Côte d’Azur and Philadelphia
The list of U.S. destinations from Nice Côte d’Azur is growing. American Airlines has announced the opening of a daily service between Nice and Philadelphia in May 2024.
What you need to know
- American Airlines will offer daily non-stop flights between Philadelphia and Nice Côte d’Azur.
- Service will begin on May 6, 2024;
- The flights will be operated by a Boeing 787-9 aircraft.
