The future of the oceans is at stake in Nice : discover the highlights not to be missed !

From June 9 to 13, 2025, Nice will be hosting an international event : the 3rd United Nations Ocean Conference (UNOC-3). For one week, the city becomes the heartbeat of the mobilization to preserve the ocean. Heads of state, specialists, NGOs, artists, citizens and journalists converge on the Baie des Anges to defend our most vital common asset: the ocean.

✨ This week’s must-see events

  • Les Merveilles de l’Océan (June 2-15) : Port Lympia welcomes an exceptional fleet of scientific and historic vessels from around the world. These emblematic boats will open their decks to visitors from June 2 to 5, and will also serve as venues for political and professional meetings. More information
  • L’Espace de « La Baleine » at the Palais des Expositions, from June 02 to 13: An immersive space dedicated to major maritime issues, with 15 themed pavilions and over 300 interactive activities : workshops, conferences, screenings, shows and games. More information
  • June 6 – Electro evening & drone show : at 8:30pm, French DJs CASSIUS and AGORIA set the Quai des États-Unis alight with a free 2-hour open-air electro concert. Followed at 10:30pm by an exclusive drone show : 2,025 drones will illuminate the Baie des Anges on the theme of the sea (duration: 14 minutes). More information
  • June 7 at 6pm – The Orchestre Philharmonique de Nice celebrates the sea with a new work by Yann Robin. A piece for large chorus and orchestra, “Hymne à l’Océan” celebrates the power of nature through one of the four elements, water. More information
  • June 8 – World Ocean Day : Nice becomes the ocean capital of the world, with a huge maritime parade in the Baie des Anges, festive events on the Promenade des Anglais, the “Grand Bain Universel”, brass bands, and surprises both on land and at sea.
