Molière, l'opera Urbain is a new kind of musical show that brings together singers, slammers, rappers, dancers, actors and musicians on stage in 17th century sets and costumes.
The show tells the story of a man who gives up the material comforts and prestige of being the King's upholsterer to create a theatre company with the woman he loves.
But the road to success is long and there are many obstacles.
Molière was to become a free playwright who revolutionised comedy writing.
He paid a high price for his freedom by confronting the hypocrisy of society, the adversity of his competitors and the hatred of the devout.
