Founded in 1884, the Alliance Française Nice Côte d'Azur is a non-profit higher education institution dedicated to promoting the French language and culture, teaching languages, and fostering intercultural dialogue. With over 800 Alliance Française branches in around 100 countries, we are the world's leading cultural NGO. Under the honorary presidency of the Head of State, the Alliance Française network is recognized as a public service organization and is structured around the Fondation des Alliances Françaises (Foundation of the Alliance Française).
Each year, more than 3,000 students come to learn French at the Alliance Française in Nice, in a multicultural environment that encourages exchange, respect, and a welcoming atmosphere. Located at 8 rue de Paris, the Alliance Française in Nice offers air-conditioned classrooms, a residence hall, a café, and a media library.
The Alliance Française in Nice offers general French courses, French for specific purposes (business, exam preparation, etc.), and personalized programs for all levels, year-round. The Alliance Française in Nice is also an official examination center (TCF, Voltaire Certificate, DAEFLE).
