Founded in 1884, the Alliance Française Nice Côte d'Azur is a not-for-profit higher education establishment dedicated to the promotion of the French-speaking world, language teaching and intercultural dialogue. With more than 800 Alliances Française in over 100 countries, we are the world's leading cultural NGO. Placed under the honorary presidency of the Head of State, the Alliances network is recognized as being in the public interest, and is structured around the Fondation des Alliances Françaises.
Every year, more than 1,700 students come to learn French at the Alliance Française de Nice, in a multicultural environment that fosters exchange, respect and conviviality. Located at 2 rue de Paris, the Alliance Française de Nice has air-conditioned classrooms, a residence, a café and a media library.
AF Nice offers courses in French as a general language, French for specific purposes (business, exam preparation, etc.) and personalized formulas for all levels, all year round. AF Nice is also an official examination center (TCF, Certificat Voltaire, DAEFLE). AF Nice also offers language stays and a program of cultural activities.
