Église Saint Jean-Baptiste

Situated in the heart of the village, the parish church of Saint Jean-Baptiste, named after the patron saint, was built between 1661 and 1666 to accommodate more worshippers.

The parish church Saint Jean-Baptiste thus replaced the former church, which stood in the current cemetery. Built on a rectangular plan, unlike the other churches which are cross-shaped, it adjoins the Saint-Bernardin chapel, which was a sheepfold before the Pénitents Blancs moved in, in 1645 and remained there until 1726.
