Perched on the heights of the west of Nice, a short walk from the airport, the Jardin Botanique offers an escape to the heart of nature, while overlooking the city, thus offering a spectacular view to walkers.
A real open-air museum, the Jardin Botanique de Nice offers one of the most beautiful panoramic views of the entire city. Located in the very pretty district of the Corniche Fleurie, in the west of the city, it invites you to escape with its three and a half hectares of flora. In total, more than 3,000 plant species live in harmony here. Although most of the varieties are Mediterranean, the garden lists plants from the four corners of the globe. They are divided into eight areas, each divided into forty plots. Africa, America, Asia, Australia, Europe … it is a real world tour, in the time it takes for a walk in the open air.
Once up in the vegetation, a magical landscape emerges all around us: a panoramic and quite rare view over the entire Baie des Anges. Le Jardin Botanique de Nice has won many awards. Among them, the Specialist Conservatory of Vegetable Collections (CCVS), the Remarkable Garden label as well as the Botanic Gardens of France and French-Speaking Countries award. And in addition, entry is free!
