La Cabane à Safran is a farm located at 1000m altitude in Venanson in the Vésubie valley. Production of certified organic saffron, vegetables and eggs. Direct sales only.
Mélanie Cassard, organic farmer at Venanson. The farm has been certified AB since its creation in 2010. First saffron and since 2015, market gardening and eggs. Around twenty species of vegetables are grown and a hundred laying hens are present on the farm. Sales are exclusively direct via local markets, restaurateurs and a few local grocery stores.
