In the extension of the famous Promenade des Anglais, the Quai des États-Unis stretches all the way to the port, between Old Nice and its narrow streets, the castle hill and the Mediterranean.
The Quai des États-Unis has now become a peaceful area, protected from motor traffic, suitable for the organisation of events and demonstrations. The southern pavement of the Quai des États-Unis has been widened to one hectare along the seafront with a cycle path 400 metres long by 3 metres wide. The public lighting network has been completely renovated.
