Musée Lou Ferouil

The Lou Ferouil Village Museum, located in Gilette, is a unique open-air museum, which can be traversed like a real reconstructed ancient village.

In his quest to recapture a bygone era, Pierre-Guy Martelly, an artistic blacksmith and sculptor, invites you to step back in time and passionately share his own golden age.

While strolling through the streets and squares, admire the trades and tools of yesteryear, vintage vehicles, and recreated shops. Then, step inside his traditional forge to discover his artistic craftsmanship.

This unique walk unfolds through a series of distinct worlds, culminating in a miniature Provençal village, a poetic tribute to the Gilette of yesteryear.

Between tradition and wonder, this visit, rich in Pagnol-esque anecdotes, makes the Lou Ferouil museum-village an immersive and vibrant experience well worth the detour.
