The not-to-be-missed sports and charity event on the Quai des Etats-Unis.
Principle: 1 kilometre run = 1 euro donated to projects helping needy or sick children.
→ The principle is simple: run or walk on a secure circuit, as many kilometers as desired and as many times as desired. When registering, a chip is given to each participant and worn around the neck by a cord provided by the organizers. This enables the distance covered to be recorded. Whether you're an amateur or a regular runner, whatever your age, alone or with your family, friends or colleagues, with your pet or your child in a stroller, you're welcome!
→ The circuit: on the seafront, a loop of around 1km on the Quai des Etats-Unis, open 24 hours a day from 2pm April 8 to 4pm April 12.
→ Registration: 24h/24h via the website until April 3 for teams and until April 6 for individuals, then on the circuit from April 8 12:30 pm until April 12 (€15 for adults, €12 for students, high school students, college students and €6 for children up to and including 11 years old, €10 deposit in addition for the chip). One-time registration for the entire race.
→ Refreshments: on the circuit and permanently open to participants.
→ Stakes: The organizers are betting on turning every kilometer run into a euro (1km = 1€). All the kilometers covered, whether walking or running, will be donated to projects for sick or underprivileged children. This gamble is made possible by sponsors, registrations, donors and sponsored teams, who pay 1€ per km. Individual participants can also donate 1€ for each km they run.
