Parc du Vinaigrier

Located between Nice and Villefranche, the Parc du Vinaigrier is a huge 31-hectare natural space which offers one of the most spectacular views of the entire Côte d'Azur.

Nowadays the property of the Conservatoire du Littoral, the Parc du Vinaigrier is a meeting place for all nature lovers. Perched on the heights of Nice, at an altitude of 370 metres, it offers a total change of scene to locals who love to meet there to switch off from daily life. Once up there, the panorama is exceptional. In addition to this, the diversity of natural habitats which make it up is impressive: Aleppo pine trees, green oaks, flowering ash as well as a huge olive grove. Moreover there are still some terraces, evidence of olive cultivation by the people of Nice in times gone by. An ideal place for a Sunday walk to discover the flora of the countryside. For those who wish to know more about the history and development of this natural site, an exhibition is on display at the Maison du Vinaigrier. A fine family outing, rich in discoveries! Good for filling the lungs while enjoying the sun of the Côte d'Azur.
