At the end of the path lined with vegetable gardens, beneath a chestnut grove, stands the Chapelle St Donat, built in the early 17th century.
On Whit Monday, a procession departs from the Church of St. James to the chapel. A picnic is held after mass.

From the main road (b.147), join the GR5 via a small tarmac road, fork right (b.148) and follow a dirt track downhill. This narrows as the slope increases. At marker 149, turn left through the well-tended chestnut grove to the Saint DONAT chapel (869m).
On the way back, follow a small, slightly downhill path that leads to the GR5 (b.150), which you climb back up to soon find the outward route and the village (b149, 148, 147).
