Explore Lantosque with the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolitan Convention and Visitors Bureau

This picturesque little village at the gateway to the Mercantour National Park overlooks the Vésubie valley. It was built on the banks of the river on an agglomerate of sediments heaped up against a glacial lock, and comprises several hamlets including Pélasque, Loda and Saint-Colomban, as well as numerous districts on its heights.

This mountain village is made up of narrow streets typical of old villages, as well as old stone houses. Sacred architecture is very present in the area, with dozens of chapels and the majestic church of Saint-Pons, enthroned at the top of the village.
