My Adventure exploration game in Saint-Jeannet

Explore the village of Saint-Jeannet through our experience

We are Rachel and Gena. We had the chance to visit the village of Saint-Jeannet thanks to My Adventure exploration game. It’s a mix between an escape game and a treasure hunt, suitable for families and groups of friends. The aim is to help you discover the different villages of Nice metropolitan area. My Adventure is a fun, accessible game for all ages. The quests are waried and appeal to all your senses.

How to get to the village ?

You can reach the village by car, parking in the large parking lot at the entrance to the village. Or like us, you can take the bus 54 to Saint-Jeannet from the Grand Arénas bus station, which will drop you off at the same point as the parking lot. The path is pleasant to look at, especially as you gain height and Nice countryside gradually takes shape.

How does the game work ?

As soon as we arrived at the Saint-Jeannet tourist information office, we met Lorie, who explained how the game would work and provided us with the necessary equipment (backpack with all the tools we’d need for the riddles). To begin with, we downloaded My Explore Bag application, which can be used even without an internet connection, which can be handy for certain routes.

Once Lorie had scanned the e-ticket, the adventure could begin ! We now have two hours to solve the quest. The quest is to help a man break the curse affecting his friend. Indeed, the Baous of Saint-Jeannet are famous for their climbing faces, and his friend wanted to venture there, but the curse of the carabiner struck him and he finds himself trapped.

Our mission is to solve the various riddles in order to gain clues that will help us decipher the final enigma and thus break the curse. Throughout the game, different types of riddles are proposed, such as deciphering a text or finding elements in the surrounding scenery.

Our experience🕵🏻‍♀️

Despite a few cloudy patches, we still enjoyed our experience in Saint-Jeannet. My Adventure game enabled us to discover the village in a fun way, through its various points of interest, including the Saint Jean-Baptiste church, a panorama of the coastline and Notre-Dame des Baous chapel.

We liked the fact that the riddles were varied in difficulty, making them suitable for a wider audience. These riddles can take place on the cell phone, but also in the background (multiple-choice quiz on the app, an object to find at a point of interest). We had no trouble getting to the points of interest, thanks to the compass included in the free My Explore Bag app, which helps us know if we’re heading in the right direction, and red when we’re going the wrong way). The adventure lasted two hours, which we think is reasonable given the number of puzzles on offer.

At the end of the adventure, we keep the explorer’s guide supplied with the equipment. So we can continue the adventure in other towns later. The app also lets us keep track of the adventures we’ve completed, and compete with other app users, since each correct answer earns a certain number of points. We won’t hesitate to return to other villages to take up their challenges.

Become an explorer

Now it’s up to you to set off on an adventure in the town of your choice and decipher the mysteries that lie hidden there !
