At an altitude of 600 metres, Roquebillière is a great place to live in the heart of the Vésubie Valley, at the gateway to the Mercantour National Park. Roquebillière is an ideal place for an outdoor holiday and offers a host of advantages, including accommodation (holiday rentals, hotels, etc.), shops and services, and a dynamic network of associations. Throughout the year, the village offers a wide range of events in a friendly atmosphere.
The only spa on the Côte d’Azur, Roquebillière Berthemont-les-Bains, 7 km from the village, offers sulphur water cures and mountain air that are particularly good for the body (the centre is open from April to November to those taking the waters in the mornings and to the public for relaxing moments in the afternoons).

Gordolon military structure
This Maginot fort, comprising 3 blocks, was part of the Vésubie Valley defence system. Since 2021, the association “Les amis du fort de Gordolon” has been working hard to restore the fort and organise occasional visits.
