⚠️ On Thursday, 23 October 2025, the Alpes-Maritimes department is placed on orange alert for wind and yellow alert for thunderstorms.

Orange alert : wind

Due to Storm Benjamin, Météo-France has decided to place our department on yellow alert for wind on 23 October 2025 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., as well as orange alert from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. In addition, the department will be on yellow alert for thunderstorms on 23 October from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

In Nice, from 12 noon onwards, all parks, public gardens, cemeteries and the coastal path will be closed. The Promenade du Paillon between the Bourgada viewpoint and the Palais des Expositions will be closed all day.
