The Cinematheque of Nice schedules more than 400 heritage and recent films in subtitled original versions and in French.
The Cinémathèque also regularly organizes meetings and events to allow for discussion around the works, in the presence of filmmakers, actors, critics, and film historians. It attracts approximately 50,000 spectators per year. It is also responsible for the preservation and promotion of cinematographic heritage. It offers introductory workshops on animated cinema.

Offre FamilleThe Cinémathèque of Nice organizes cartoon workshops every Wednesday from October to June and during local school vacation for children. These workshops offer children (+8 yrs) a chance to make their own animated films: from the creation of the characters and the realization of the storyboard to the editing and the film soundtrack. Booking required (subject to availability).
