The first gay carnival in France, rooted in the Nice tradition of carnival festivities, it is a popular event open to all. It strives to promote values of sharing, inclusion and living together!
What other event can bring together in a single show the most talented batucadas in Nice, the most dazzling drag queens, and so many artists carrying a powerful universal message of sharing and kindness?
Since its launch in 2015, Lou Queernaval has attracted spectators from all regions of France and the four corners of the world, kicking off a weekend of exceptional festivities.
Free of charge, this unique event in France is organized by the LGBTQIA+ community of Nice in close collaboration with the City of Nice and the Nice Côte d'Azur Metropolitan Area.
Open to all, Lou Queernaval, France's first gay carnival, is committed, with humility and a touch of madness, to bringing the great popular tradition of the Nice Carnival to life in a modern way!
