Trance helps us see our bodies differently, as a sacred, living, and shared space. It is within us and at the heart of the world!
For this creation, Marie-Pierre Genovese is at the center of a shared emotion with those present. Her highly precise choreographic technique, sometimes fluid, sometimes exploring the deepest movement, merges with a stage approach that allows the viewer to fully experience the moment.
The choreographer, who bases her work on the notion of instinct, here emphasizes the instant. Each performance is unique, varying according to the gaze, energy, and gestures. As the performance progresses, states of mind follow one another, and the spectator becomes an actor in a collective trance that is nevertheless experienced in an intimate way. A journey from which each person leaves with their own album of sensations.
