A special edition ✨

“An edition dedicated to Nice and the surrounding area. It tells the story of a city that was born Greek 2,300 years ago, became French in 1860 and boasts an exceptional heritage. In the 19th century, the King of Piedmont and wealthy Europeans embellished the town. Resorting and tourism then shaped a city of unparalleled proportions. The various foreign communities have left their mark on lifestyles and architecture. Nice and its metropolitan area boast the largest number of museums in France, after Paris, dedicated to painters such as Chagall, Matisse and Renoir. But also contemporary art, history, photography, sport and archaeology. We’ll also be looking at the art of living in Nice, with its old quarter, its gardens and its legendary gastronomy.”

The Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolitan Tourist Office would like to express its gratitude to all those who contributed to the production of this magazine. It offers a new perspective on the timeless beauty of the region.
