Off-road electric scooter tours with Go Fun

With GO FUN, enjoy an innovative and fun experience in the great outdoors!
Olivier and I tested it for you!

Go fun? What is it? It’s an all-terrain electric scooter ride through the countryside around Nice Côte d’Azur. Patrick, the manager and guide at GO FUN, carefully selects the routes.

To date, it offers 14 varied walks of different difficulty levels, ranging from accessible routes to technical itineraries. These allow you to discover unspoiled natural areas rarely visited by the public, such as Mont Chauve, Mont Férion, Mont Cima, and Mont Macaron.

There is something for everyone, whatever your taste or level! Whether you are a beginner or an experienced athlete, you will find something to suit you!
This activity is ideal for families (with teenagers aged 14 and over), groups of friends, or even work colleagues looking to strengthen their bonds!

The route we tested was the “Aspremont to Mont Chauve” discovery route!
A 20 km round trip that takes 2 to 3 hours at a leisurely pace; with GO FUN, slow tourism takes on its full meaning!

My adventure began at the Henri Sappia tram stop in Nice Nord, where Patrick picked me up in his shuttle.
GO FUN offers its customers a free shuttle system for all excursions, with the exception of “Initiation” excursions, which last less than one hour. .
For these trips, customers can choose to:
– to reach the starting point of the trip by their own means (using a GPS address)
Or, they can go to the designated pick-up point (which varies depending on the trip) and take the shuttle.

As for Olivier, the team’s athlete, he chose to join us by bike directly at the starting point of the ride in Aspremont.

Patrick is very welcoming and professional. The safety of his customers is one of his main concerns. First, he gave us a complete safety kit, which included a helmet with a disposable protective cap, gloves, elbow pads, knee pads, and a reflective vest. Before we set off, he provided advice on how to safely practice this activity and gave us a short training session on how to use our electric scooters.

And off we go! We’re heading to Mont Chauve for a unique experience while discovering magnificent landscapes!
The walk begins on a section of road before reaching the start of the trail. We explore the trails of Mont Chauve d’Aspremont at a relaxed pace, stopping occasionally to admire the landscape and take photos.
We ended up stopping for a lovely, sunny break with the Château de Tourrette-Levens and the ruins of Castelnuovo in Châteauneuf-Villevieille in the background.

Patrick is patient, attentive, and an excellent teacher. You will immediately feel at ease! His customers’ well-being and satisfaction are very important to him, and he is passionate about his work. He ensures that everything goes smoothly and offers advice throughout the ride.
The scooters are impressive in quality and perfectly suited for the mountains. Thanks to their wide tires, they are very maneuverable and stable, so you immediately feel safe!
This innovative, fun, and quiet mode of transportation is halfway between an electric mountain bike and a trial motorcycle. It offers a thrilling experience and allows you to fully enjoy the magnificent scenery without breaking a sweat!

And it’s true that when you reach the top, you are treated to an exceptional view, a 360° panorama of the entire bay of Nice, the Mediterranean Sea, and the surrounding mountain ranges!
And the icing on the cake is the discovery of the Mont Chauve fort, which stands at an altitude of 853 meters.

Returning to the starting point allowed us to test the limits of these machines, thrills guaranteed!

We thoroughly enjoyed our morning scooter ride with GO FUN and highly recommend this activity!
So if you want to enjoy a wonderful experience in the great outdoors, don’t hesitate to give it a try—you won’t regret it!
Go for it! Let’s GO and have FUN!
