1 hour trip on the Solar Boat leaving from the port of Beaulieu sur mer.

Working in tourism offers some advantages … that of being able (from time to time, hic …) to test for ourselves the products and activities that we recommend to our visitors.

So it was on a beautiful spring morning that I had the chance to embark on this beautiful solar boat, from the Port of Beaulieu sur Mer.

Guillaume, our guide and captain, welcomed us with generosity and friendliness. He was not stingy about the explanations and told us multitudes of anecdotes about the spectacle before our eyes. The trip allowed us to discover the coast between Beaulieu and Saint-Jean Cap Ferrat, to admire from the sea the sumptuous villas Ephrussi de Rothschild and Kérylos as well as the other superb private villas, hidden most often in lush greenery. We went alongside beautiful yachts (which gave us the impression of being small …) and majestic sailboats, but what I especially felt is a great serenity aboard this electric boat that slides on the water, without noise or smell. Whether for a romantic getaway or a family outing, you will surely find your happiness in this trip. The ride lasts about 1 hour, several slots are available during the day, reservations are made on the site of the provider or on the website of the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolitan CVB or in our welcome and information offices.

It is also possible to rent the boat without a license for the day / evening after an hour of guided driving initiation. You will then have the opportunity to stop in heavenly moorings and dive into a turquoise sea … SeaZen ensures autonomy all day long thanks to its photovoltaic panels.

  • Plan to wear sunglasses, hats and caps if the weather requires it, even if the boat is equipped with a solar awning
  • Children are welcome from 7 years old (under the responsibility of parents)
